Patsy Northcutt: Producer / Director / Editor
Patsy Northcutt is the co-producer/director and the editor of Journey of the Universe, now airing nationally on PBS. Patsy's love of filmmaking is coupled with her passion, creativity and commitment to producing stories that
highlight a positive and sustainable future.
For over 20 years, she has helped produce programs that create cultural and environmental awareness in areas such as green building, alternative transportation, species extinction,
solutions for the future, green plans, social justice, green(ing) business and teen pregnancy prevention.
Recent credits include: The Bioneers Conference National Broadcast; The Ecological Footprint: Accounting for a Small Planet; Awakening the Dreamer: Changing the Dream Pachamama Symposium Film Project; Texas Gold; and
Building Sustainability with The Natural Step.
Northcutt's academic credentials include an MA in Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Communities from New College, Santa Rosa; a BA in Business Economics from University of California,
Santa Barbara and completion of the Stanford University Mass Media Institute program in Documentary Film Production.

Adam Loften: Editor / Creative Direction
Adam has been a core partner on a variety of Northcutt Productions over many years and is an absolute rock star. He is a bright shining light in the Universe and brings his creativity and love of life to the projects of
Northcutt Productions and to everything he touches.
Catherine Butler: Producer
A seasoned storyteller, Catherine has written and produced award-winning science, culture and social POV shows for clients including PBS, The Discovery Channel, The National Science Foundation and The Learning Channel.
Credits include co-producing the Emmy-nominated PBS special Documenting the Face of America and co-writing the Emmy Award-winning Women of Tibet. She also produced the independent feature The Future of Food.
In 2011, she co-founded BigTree Media, LLC, a multi-media company dedicated to inspiring kids to rediscover the wonders of nature.
Rivkah Beth Medow: Producer
Rivkah lights up rooms with her creativity, grace and charm. She has worked on a number of Northcutt projects and co-produced both of our Pachamama Alliance video series, leading an extensive global visual acquisitions
process and collaborating with dozens of independent filmmakers to gather images from around the planet. Rivkah directed and produced her own film, "Sons of a Gun", that premiered at SXSW.
Greg O'Toole: Editor
Greg is a wonderful editor, strong storyteller, imaginative, knowledgeabe and passionate about the issues of our day. He has worked on a variety of Northcutt Productions. Greg's recent documentary features include
Better This World (SXSW/POV 2011), cited by Variety for O Toole s ace editing ; Two Escobars (Cannes/ESPN, 2010), called "a miracle in editing " by IndieWire; and Sons of a Gun (2009), called "riveting and fascinating"
by Frontline Producer David Fanning. The most import thing to know about Greg is that he surfs.
Mike Northcutt: Music
Mike Northcutt (Patsy's brother), composed, performed and produced much of the music for the programs on this web site. Mike shares Patsy's deep commitment to quality and client satisfaction. He is a guitarist/singer/songwriter
and has been performing live rock and roll for over 16 years. He understands content development issues and has an uncanny ability to create exactly to our client's tastes. You can sample his music here, or visit

Mark Woloschuck: Motion Graphic Design
Mark does the motion graphic design for most of our projects. He is fantastic designer and animator. He the title design for Journey of the Universe, some of our Pachamama animations; the "How big are we?" Roll and WiserEarth
animations that we created for Paul Hawken; the Green Cross Awards intros; the Northcutt and Extreme Learning logo animations; and more. Put a Canadian in San Francisco and you have Mark. Very cool.
Michelle Grenier: Footage Research, Associate Producer and Transcription
Michelle has worked on a variety of Northcutt Productions over the past few years and does a great job with everything she touches. Michelle is constantly developing her Spiritual side as well as her craft and brings with her an
uncanny sense of flow and synchronicity. She plays a key support role and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Jørgen Vos: Business Advisor
Jørgen has an MBA in Sustainable Management from the Presidio School of Management, San Francisco, and has worked for a variety of environmental organizations and businesses. He gives guidance for the management of
Northcutt Productions and to all Northcutt projects, and he provides ongoing tech support. Like Greg above, Jorgen is an avid surfer and brings the beauty and energy of the waves to Northcutt projects.
