Journey of the Universe,
a Northcutt co-production, just finished it's national premiere on PBS and aired primetime in NY, LA, SF, DC, Atlanta, Houston, and Philadelphia.
Journey of the Universe is a dramatic and expansive film that reimagines the universe story and reframes the human connection to the cosmos. Created by a renowned team of scientists, scholars, and filmmakers,
it was filmed in HD on the Greek island of Samos, the birthplace of Pythagoras. Journey is hosted by evolutionary philosopher Brian Thomas Swimme, whose stories awaken us to the beauty and complexity of our
planet and offer an opportunity to respond to ecological and social challenges of our times. Thomas E. Lovejoy, scientist and founder of the PBS series Nature says, "This is one of the most remarkable films I have ever seen."
The film was written by Brian Swimme and Mary Evelyn Tucker, directed by Patsy Northcutt and David Kennard, and edited by Patsy Northcutt. A full list of film credits

Journey of the Universe Educational Series

Northcutt Productions recently completed production of a twenty-part 4-DVD educational series which integrates the perspectives of the sciences and the humanities into a
retelling of our 13.7 billion year story. In a series of one-on-one interviews, scientists, historians, and environmentalists explore the unfolding story of the universe and Earth and the role of the human in responding to our present challenges.
These half hour episodes are designed to be used in classrooms, conferences, community centers, and religious institutions in conjunction with the Journey of the Universe film and book.
