THE NATURAL STEP

Film: "Building Sustainability with the Natural Step: UT-Houston's Journey"
Client: The University of Texas, Houston

Northcutt Productions produced a program for the University of Texas, Houston, that introduces four principles for achieving environmental sustainability from The Natural Step (TNS). We created colorful animations for each principle (system condition) and then tell the story of a leading edge green building project and how the University and building design team are working to meet each of these four conditions. Two versions of the program are available in English and one in Spanish.

For organizations that wish to incorporate TNS ideas into their communications, Northcutt Productions offers solid comprehension of the system conditions, case studies, related science and economics. In 1996, producer/director, Patsy Northcutt videotaped Swedish founder Karl-Henrik Robert launch TNS, Australia. She has since participated in several Natural Step conferences. (www.naturalstep.org)
