GREEN BUILDING

Film: "Completing the Campus"
Client: The University of Texas, Houston

Northcutt Productions creates high quality film and video, designed for the mainstream, that help organizations reduce their ecological footprint.

The University of Texas-Houston, Health Science Center, was a pioneer in the current movement to green buildings on University campuses. This is a video about a project to create one of the most ecologically friendly, large scale institutional buildings that had been built to-date.  Brian Yeoman and his team at UTH needed consensus among administration, students, faculty and builders in order to gain support for the project.  They wanted a video to introduce the vision and potential of this new building.

Brian Yeoman found a partner in Northcutt Productions, with the vocabulary and background in environmental sustainability to carry his project forward, both when he was available and when he was not. We designed three programs for him, by re-using the same material:  one for internal use, called "Completing the Campus", a second for external audiences entitled, "Building Sustainability with The Natural Step:  UT-Houston's Journey", and a third, shorter version for executives.  We also translated the second program into Spanish. All have been widely viewed by their respective audiences.

"What I received from Northcutt Productions was the most outstanding professional response imagined."
